Jonathan Kennedy

Jonathan came of age in the late 1990s and early 2000s in Gainesville, Florida, a thriving music scene described in 2004 by Esquire as one of the nation’s top five “Cities that Rock.” He was a fixture of the scene between 2003 and 2008, playing with various modestly successful bands and sharing the stage with the likes of the Dillinger Escape Plan, Darkest Hour, and The Absence. His love for rock n’ roll dates back to childhood, when he received the Clash’s greatest hits for Christmas at the age of five. Truth be told, he didn’t know

his ass from a cassette tape at the time, but after a few hundredd repetitions of “Should I Stay or Should I Go”, it’s safe to say he was hooked.

Influences: Steve Harris, Cliff Burton, and Les Claypool
